Museum of Milling and Food

The Museum of Milling and Food occupies the old Evere windmill, built in 1841 and later adapted for steam-powered milling. Its exhibitions cover the mill's working life, the history of grain processing, and the spice factory that used the building through much of the 20th century.

It is a small, specialised museum rather than a headline Brussels stop, but it rewards visitors interested in industrial heritage, food history, or restored working buildings. Temporary exhibitions often branch into wider food culture, from sweets and breakfast to forgotten vegetables.
