Pavilion of Human Passions

The Pavilion of Human Passions is a small Victor Horta pavilion in the Cinquantenaire area, built to house Jef Lambeaux's monumental relief The Human Passions. The sculpture's erotic and religious imagery caused enough controversy that the pavilion was closed for long periods.

It is a short but distinctive stop for visitors interested in Brussels architecture, Symbolist art, or Horta beyond the better-known town houses. Opening times can be limited, so check before making a special trip.
