Free guided tours of the ornamental gardens surrounding the Church Office Building Plaza run April through September. Tours depart Monday through Saturday at 10am, noon, 2pm, and 4pm from the Church Office Building lobby, with additional evening tours at 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Sunday tours follow the Tabernacle Choir broadcast.
The gardens contain over 500 varieties of flowers arranged in English cottage beds and themed display areas. It is a pleasant way to spend an hour while visiting the Temple Square complex, particularly in spring and early summer when the flower beds are at their best. A free printed brochure identifying the plants is available on the tour.
