The DomQuartier links the Residenz, the cathedral terraces, St Peter's, and the Long Gallery into a single ticketed circuit through the heart of the prince-archbishopric — a 200-room indoor tour through what was once Europe's most powerful church state.
The cabinet of curiosities (the Kunst- und Wunderkammer) on the third floor is the highlight: an exuberant 17th-century collection of art, antiquities, and natural oddities collected by successive archbishops. Plan three hours.
