Nygårdsparken is a landscaped 19th-century park south of central Bergen, laid out in an English style with lawns, mature trees, and paths. It is a good fair-weather stop for a picnic or a quiet break between the university area, VilVite, and the city centre.
The upper part has a children's play area and sometimes hosts outdoor exhibitions or a small weekend cafe in the pavilion.
