St John's Church, or Johanneskirken, stands on Nygårdshøyden above the centre of Bergen. Its red-brick tower is one of the skyline markers of the university quarter, and the steps and nearby streets give a good view back over the central city.
The church is most useful as part of a walk between the KODE museums, the university area, and Nygårdsparken. It is a short stop, but a handsome one.
