Tippetue is one of the paths climbing from central Bergen toward the Floyen area, and its panorama point gives a fine view over the city without making the funicular platform the whole experience. The route quickly trades streets for trees, stone steps, and glimpses back toward the harbour.
It is a good choice if you want Bergen's classic mountain-and-water view but prefer earning it on foot. Conditions can be slippery after rain, so wear decent shoes and treat the walk as a small hike rather than a paved promenade.
