Koreatown is one of the most densely populated and genuinely 24-hour neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Olympic Boulevard is the main artery, flanked by Korean BBQ restaurants, karaoke bars, enormous supermarkets, and spas. The signs are mostly in Korean but everyone is welcoming.
