Feng Chia University sits at the centre of the western district that bears its name, and the area around the university is one of the densest concentrations of student life in Taiwan. The Fengjia Night Market spreads out from the campus on every direction in the evening, but during the day the district has its own quieter character — bookshops, cheap cafés, board game cafés, and second-hand clothes shops.
Worth a wander if you are in the area before the night market starts. The University also has a small museum of agricultural and engineering history in the main administration building.
