Lihpao Land is the largest theme park in central Taiwan, occupying a large site in Houli about forty minutes north of central Taichung. It combines a standard set of rollercoasters with a water park, a hot spring resort and a giant Ferris wheel, the Sky Dream, claimed to be the tallest in Taiwan at 120 metres.
The crowds are heaviest at weekends and during school holidays. The combination ticket gives access to both the amusement park and the water park, which makes a full day's visit. Easiest by shuttle bus from Taichung HSR station.
