The old Qingshui Railway Station is a small Japanese-era stationhouse from 1935, retired from service but preserved as a heritage building. The single-storey timber-and-brick design is one of the last surviving examples of this kind of small-town colonial station on Taiwan's western coast.
Worth a fifteen-minute stop on the way back from Gaomei Wetlands, with a small cluster of cafés in restored adjacent buildings.
