Villa Muller is one of Prague's great modernist houses, designed by Adolf Loos and Karel Lhota in the late 1920s. Its plain exterior hides an intricate interior organized around Loos's Raumplan idea, with rooms set at different heights and linked by short stairs.
Visits are by guided tour, which is the best way to understand the villa's careful use of space, materials, and views. It is a deliberate stop for architecture fans rather than a casual walk-by sight.
