Oklahoma State Firefighters Museum

A small museum on Northeast 36th Street built around the relocated Florence fire station — the oldest surviving fire station in Oklahoma, dating from 1903 — and full of polished hand-drawn engines, horse-drawn steam pumpers, and uniforms from a century and a half of firefighting in the state. The collection includes equipment used at the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.

A pleasant 45-minute stop. The volunteer staff are usually retired firefighters and happy to talk about anything in the collection. Closed Sundays.
