Martin Park Nature Center preserves a pocket of Oklahoma woodland and prairie on the north side of Oklahoma City. Short trails run through woods, grassland, and creek habitat, with a good chance of seeing deer, turtles, and birds close to the city.
It is best treated as an easy nature break rather than a wilderness trip. The visitor centre and marked trails make it simple for families or anyone who wants a quiet walk without leaving the metro area.
