Science Museum Oklahoma

A sprawling, hands-on science museum (formerly the Omniplex) in the Adventure District northeast of downtown, sharing a campus with the OKC Zoo and the Cowboy Museum. The exhibits are very much aimed at children and families — a tornado simulator, a Tesla coil show, the Mind Games illusion gallery, a planetarium, and a high-wire bicycle thirty feet off the ground that adults are also welcome to try.

A good rainy-day option. The Destination Space exhibit on the upper floor contains genuine NASA artefacts. Plan three or four hours if you have kids in tow; about half that if you don't.
