Capo di Bove is an archaeological site on the Appian Way, built around the remains of thermal baths from the villa of Herodes Atticus. A restored villa on the site displays reused Roman fragments and often has a small photographic exhibition.
It is a quieter stop than Rome's headline ruins, and works well for visitors already walking or cycling along Via Appia Antica.
