Adalberto Libera's Palazzo dei Congressi is arguably the finest individual building in EUR — a massive white cube capped by a coffered concrete dome that manages the difficult trick of feeling both monumental and elegant. Completed in 1954, it now operates as a conference and exhibition venue. The exterior is worth seeing on any visit to EUR; public access to the interior depends on the event schedule. Worth a detour even when nothing is on inside.
