Ponte Milvio is one of Rome's old Tiber crossings, with roots in the Roman Via Flaminia. The bridge was rebuilt in antiquity and has been restored and altered several times since.
It is best visited as part of a north Rome walk along the river. In the 2000s it also became known for love locks, after a film-inspired trend grew heavy enough to damage a lamppost on the bridge.
