Colonia Juárez wraps around the eastern end of Reforma between the Centro and Roma — a Porfirian-era district of grand townhouses, many now converted to galleries, cocktail bars, and high-design hotels. The southern fringe is the Zona Rosa, Mexico City's main gay neighbourhood and Korean district, and the area where the city's most international nightlife congregates.
Juárez has a sharper, less mellow energy than Roma or Condesa. It works best after dark — start at Hanky Panky or Handshake (speakeasy-style cocktail bars), eat Korean barbecue on Hamburgo, finish at one of the all-night spots on Génova or Florencia.
