Ruinas en Mixcoac

Ruinas en Mixcoac preserves temple foundations from the old Nahua settlement of Mixcoac. The site was occupied long before the Spanish conquest and was rebuilt by the Mexica shortly before the colonial period began.

The ruins are not usually open for walking through, but they can be seen clearly from the street. The elevated sidewalk along Anillo Periferico gives the best view.
