Palacio de Mineria

Palacio de Mineria is a grand neoclassical former mining college in Mexico City's Centro Historico, dating from the late 18th century. Its stone facade, old library, and chapel make it one of the area's finer academic and civic buildings.

The palace is best seen as part of a Centro Historico architecture walk, especially around Palacio Postal, Palacio de Bellas Artes, and the Alameda. It also hosts cultural events, including the city's major book fair.
