Espacio Escultórico is a huge circular work of public art on the UNAM campus, where angular stone forms ring a field of rough volcanic rock. It feels part sculpture, part observatory, and part reminder that the campus was built over lava fields.
It is not a quick stop in the historic centre, but it makes sense if you are already visiting Ciudad Universitaria or the UNAM Botanical Garden. The scale works best when you walk the ring rather than just photograph it from the edge.
