A modest 1930s royal residence on Șoseaua Kiseleff, built for Princess Elisabeta of Romania, sister of King Carol II. Set in its own enclosed park immediately south of Herăstrău, the white neoromanian villa is more domestic than monumental — by the standards of European royal palaces it almost looks suburban.
Since the Romanian royal family's return after 1989, the palace has been the official residence of the Custodian of the Crown. The interior is open only by special arrangement, but the gardens occasionally open for cultural events. From outside, glimpsable from Șoseaua Kiseleff and a pleasant 10-minute walk from the Village Museum.
