Helsinki Central Park is a long green corridor running north from near the Olympic Stadium into the city's northern suburbs. It covers more than 1,000 hectares, with forest paths, ski routes in winter, and quieter natural areas away from the centre.
It is one of Helsinki's easiest places for a long walk or bike ride without leaving the city. The northern sections feel much more like woodland than an urban park.
