Roihuvuori Cherry Park and the nearby Japanese garden are two small Japanese-style green spaces in eastern Helsinki. They are at their best in spring, when the cherry trees bloom and the local hanami celebration draws visitors.
Outside blossom season, the gardens are quieter neighborhood stops. In spring, they are worth planning around if you want a softer, seasonal side of Helsinki.
