The home of Liverpool Football Club since 1892, and one of the most atmospheric stadiums in world football. The Kop end — once a vast standing terrace, now an all-seater stand — is the spiritual home of the club's support, and on European nights the singing genuinely raises the hair on the back of your neck.
The stadium tour and museum cover the club's six European Cup wins, eighteen league titles, and the Hillsborough disaster of 1989 in which 97 supporters lost their lives. Match-day tickets are difficult to come by; non-matchday tours run daily. The "This Is Anfield" sign above the players' tunnel is the famous photograph spot.
