The Foundation for Art and Creative Technology — a contemporary arts venue on Wood Street with three cinema screens and three galleries, dedicated to film, video and new media. Programming runs from arthouse and indie cinema releases to commissioned digital art installations from international artists.
The building, designed by Austin-Smith:Lord and opened in 2003, has a café-bar and the cinema runs late screenings most nights of the week. A useful counterpoint to the more traditional galleries elsewhere in the city. Close to the Bold Street area.
