Home of Everton FC since 1892 — and one of the first purpose-built football stadiums in England. It sits just over a mile north of Anfield in Walton, the two grounds visible from each other across Stanley Park. Everton are due to leave for a new waterfront stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in 2025; Goodison's future is uncertain.
The Archibald Leitch-designed stands have given the ground its distinctive character for over a century, and Goodison remains a far more intimate experience than most modern stadiums. Stadium tours run regularly while the ground is still in use; check ahead for closure dates.
