Georgetown Lighthouse

Georgetown Lighthouse is a red-and-white striped landmark beside the seawall. The Dutch first built a beacon here in 1817, and the present brick tower dates from 1830.

It is an easy stop while walking the seawall or the Kingston end of the city. Even if the tower is not open, the exterior is one of Georgetown's most recognizable colonial-era sights.
