Dominus Flevit Chapel sits on the Mount of Olives, where medieval pilgrims identified the place where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. The modern chapel is small, but its west-facing window frames one of the great views of the Old City.
It is best visited while walking down the Mount of Olives toward Gethsemane. The chapel also has a small collection of stone finds from the area, but the setting and the view are the real reasons to stop.
