Tell el-Ful

Tell el-Ful is a hill in northern Jerusalem traditionally identified with Gibeah, the biblical city linked with King Saul. The ancient remains are not very visible, but the hill has wide views over the surrounding area.

The most obvious structure is the unfinished palace begun by King Hussein of Jordan in the 1960s and abandoned after the 1967 war. The ruins are in poor condition, so treat them as something to view with care rather than clamber over.
