Nabi Samwil is the traditional burial site of the prophet Samuel, revered in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim tradition. Its hilltop position has made it a pilgrimage site for centuries.
The site is also one of the highest points around Jerusalem, with wide views in every direction. It is outside the centre, but can be reached by buses from Jerusalem toward Givat Ze'ev or Modi'in Illit.
