Ecce Homo Arch

The Ecce Homo Arch spans the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem's Old City and is tied to both Roman Jerusalem and Christian tradition. Part of the structure was incorporated into the nearby Convent of the Sisters of Zion, which makes it easy to miss if you are moving too quickly through the lanes.

It is a small stop, but a meaningful one on a walk through the Old City. Pause here for a moment and the Via Dolorosa feels less like a route on a map and more like a layered piece of the city.
