Aquaria KLCC

Oceanarium beneath the KLCC Convention Centre with sharks, rays, sawfish, and a glass walk-through tunnel

A modern aquarium tucked beneath the KL Convention Centre, with around 5,000 animals across 250 species — sand tiger sharks, giant freshwater stingrays from the Mekong, electric eels, sea otters, and a small Amazon flooded-forest exhibit. The headline feature is a 90-metre walk-through acrylic tunnel beneath a tropical reef tank that puts visitors face to face with the sharks and rays gliding overhead.

Reckon on about two hours. It is one of the better wet-weather options in the city centre, popular with families, and gets crowded on weekend afternoons. Buy tickets online for a small discount and to skip the queue. Open daily 10 am to 8 pm.
