A small museum dedicated to P. Ramlee (1929-1973), Malaysia’s most celebrated entertainer. Actor, director, singer, and composer, Ramlee starred in over 60 films and recorded hundreds of songs that remain cultural touchstones across the Malay-speaking world.
The memorial occupies the house where he lived during his later years in Kuala Lumpur. Inside you’ll find personal belongings, film memorabilia, musical instruments, and photographs tracing his career from Penang to Singapore’s Shaw Brothers studio and finally to KL. A screening room plays clips from his films. Admission is free.
