The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) is the large integrated conference and concert complex built alongside the Petronas Towers, handling everything from international summits and trade shows to major concerts and exhibitions. For visitors, it's most relevant as the venue for events — major touring acts play here rather than elsewhere in KL, and large international exhibitions and car shows take place regularly.
The complex houses several restaurants and the entrance to Aquaria KLCC (the aquarium underneath). Check the events calendar before arriving: a major conference can affect traffic and hotel availability across the KLCC district significantly. The Petronas Philharmonic Hall within the complex is the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, with regular classical performances.
