Fabrika — "Factory" — is a former Soviet garment factory on Ninoshvili Street that was converted in 2017 into one of Tbilisi's most successful creative spaces. The factory courtyard is lined with shipping container shops and bars, and the surrounding buildings house studios, a hostel, a climbing wall, and several full restaurants. The whole complex is one of the best places to get a feel for the Tbilisi creative scene.
The food options in the courtyard represent a good cross-section of Tbilisi's eating culture: Georgian classics, international food, craft beer, Georgian wine. It fills up on evenings and weekends, with a crowd that is part tourist, part young Tbilisi professional. Several of the nightclubs that operate from the factory buildings are considered among the best in the city.
