Tsiskari Lake is a small reservoir in the hills south of the old town, set in a forested park that makes a pleasant contrast to the bare limestone of the Narikala ridge nearby. The park is quieter than Vake or Turtle Lake and less well-known to tourists — most of the visitors are local families and cyclists using the perimeter path.
The surrounding forested hills are a good escape on a hot afternoon; the lake reflects the trees and the altitude makes it slightly cooler than the city below. The park connects to walking trails that extend into the hills south of the city. A short taxi ride from the old town.
