The Vank Armenian Monastery Belltower is a small but telling survivor of old Tbilisi. The 14th-century Armenian monastery around it was demolished in the Soviet period, leaving the belltower tucked behind newer buildings near Atoneli Street.
It is a quick stop rather than a major sight, but it says a lot about the Armenian layer of the city's history. Look for it while walking between the Dry Bridge area and the old town.
