The Church of the Intercession at Fili is a late-17th-century Naryshkin Baroque church commissioned by Lev Naryshkin on his estate at Fili. Its stacked form, red-and-white detailing, and compact Greek-cross plan make it one of Moscow's more distinctive suburban churches.
The building contains a lower winter church and an upper summer church. It is outside the main sightseeing core, but worthwhile for travellers interested in Russian church architecture.
