The Kremlin Wall Necropolis is the burial place along Red Square beside Lenin's Mausoleum, first used after the October Revolution for Bolshevik casualties. Later burials and urns in the wall turned it into one of Soviet Russia's most symbolic memorial spaces.
It is best understood together with Red Square, the Kremlin walls, and the mausoleum rather than as a long standalone visit.
