Nikolay Durasov's Palace is the main historic building of the Lyublino estate in southeastern Moscow. The neoclassical house has a formal central hall, columned interiors, service wings, and the remains of a landscaped estate around the pond.
It takes more effort to reach than the central museums, but it rewards travellers interested in Moscow's aristocratic estates beyond the Kremlin and the usual imperial landmarks. Combine it with other southern Moscow sights if you are spending a day away from the centre.
