The Zoological Museum of Moscow University is a large natural history collection near the city centre. Its lower hall covers most branches of the animal kingdom, while the upper hall focuses on birds and mammals.
The displays are traditional rather than flashy, but the scale of the collection makes it a useful stop for visitors interested in zoology, old museum halls, or a quieter indoor sight near central Moscow.
