Epiphany Cathedral at Yelokhovo

Epiphany Cathedral at Yelokhovo is a large 19th-century Orthodox cathedral in eastern Moscow, built in a neoclassical style by Yevgraph Tyurin. Its blue domes and richly decorated interior make it one of the more impressive churches away from the usual central sights.

It is an active place of worship, so visit quietly and dress with that in mind. The cathedral is most worthwhile if you are already exploring the Baumanskaya area or want a less crowded Moscow church visit.
