St Clement Danes is a Wren church on the Strand, rebuilt after wartime damage and now serving as the central church of the Royal Air Force. The exterior gives a good sense of late 17th-century London church architecture, while the interior and memorials make its RAF role clear.
It is a worthwhile stop if you are walking between Fleet Street, the Royal Courts of Justice, and Covent Garden.
