Wimbledon Common is a wide sweep of heath, woodland, ponds, and open grass in southwest London. It is large enough to feel properly loose and unmanicured by city standards, with walking trails, a windmill, and plenty of quiet corners. Come for a long walk rather than a quick photo stop.
