The William Morris Gallery is the main museum devoted to William Morris, the designer, writer, and socialist whose work helped define the Arts and Crafts movement. It is housed in Morris's former family home in Walthamstow and is worth the trip for its textiles, wallpapers, furniture, and clear account of his political and artistic life.
