Sarajevo's National Theatre hosts plays, concerts, and opera in a central 1899 building originally built as a Gentlemen's Club. It was designed by Czech architect Karel Parik, whose work shaped many public buildings in and around Sarajevo.
Even without attending a performance, the theatre is worth noting while walking the city centre.
