Amuri Museum of Workers' Housing preserves a row of wooden homes from Tampere's industrial era, when mill workers and their families lived close to the factories that powered the city. Rooms are arranged by decade, so you see everyday life changing through furniture, kitchens, textiles, and small domestic details.
It is one of Tampere's most human museums. The city has big industrial buildings and lakeside views, but Amuri shows the lives behind that industrial story, making it a strong companion to Finlayson-area sightseeing.
