Moomin Valley Park is an outdoor theme park at Särkänniemi aimed at children aged 2–10, built around walk-through environments representing the Moomin world. The park opened in 2019 and is the official Moomin outdoor experience endorsed by the Jansson estate. It operates within the larger Särkänniemi complex and requires a separate admission.
The park is deliberately scaled for small children — nothing is high-speed or frightening — and the construction quality is good, with genuine attention to the original illustrations. Adults accompanying children will find it thoughtfully done. The Moomin Museum in Vapriikki covers the artistic legacy; this covers the experiential side. Separate tickets or a combined pass with Särkänniemi are available.
